Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from global importers and contractors about our steel products, shipping, and quality control.
What materials and standards can you supply?
We supply stainless steel (e.g., 304, 316L), carbon steel (e.g., A36, Q235, Q355), and galvanized steel (e.g., DX51D). We can also provide aluminum, alloy, and copper products. Materials are produced according to international standards such as ASTM, AISI, GB, JIS, DIN, and EN.
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is typically 1 ton for most stock items. For custom sizes or specific manufacturing requirements, the MOQ may vary. Please contact our sales team with your exact specifications for a precise answer.
How do you ensure product quality and provide certifications?
Every shipment is accompanied by a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2. We also provide Certificates of Origin (CO). If required, we can arrange third-party inspections from recognized agencies like SGS, TUV, or BV before loading.
What is the typical lead time for production and delivery?
For stock items, we can load within 7 days after receiving the deposit. For custom production or large orders, the typical lead time is 15-30 days depending on the quantity and complexity of the order.
How do you pack the steel products for ocean freight?
We use standard seaworthy export packing. This includes anti-rust paper, waterproof plastic film, edge protectors, and strong steel strapping. For sensitive surfaces (like stainless steel), we use additional protective layers. Wooden pallets or cases are available upon request.
What trade terms and payment methods do you accept?
We accept common trade terms including EXW, FOB, CFR, and CIF. For payments, we typically accept T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) and L/C at sight (Letter of Credit). Other terms can be discussed based on your specific requirements and order volume.
